Fantasy IV: Presented by Hansori Music in collaboration with Sunshine Philharmonic Orchestra
Sunshine Philharmonic Orchestra is delighted to partner with Hansori Music for an inspiring afternoon of music, bringing together young soloists, chamber musicians, orchestra and contemporary dance in a diverse celebration of artistic collaboration.Under the direction of Dr Paul Terracini and Eason Wang, the SPO will accompany young pianists Luke Zhang in Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 12 and Daniel Park in Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2, showcasing the musical development and performance experience of emerging young soloists alongside a full symphony orchestra.The programme also features solo piano, piano duets, chamber ensembles and a special collaboration between pianist Michelle Park and contemporary dancer Professor Hong Soon Mi, exploring the powerful connection between music and movement.With award-winning young musicians and a rich variety of artistic performances, the concert promises an exciting afternoon celebrating music, collaboration and the next generation of performers.

Hansori Music is a Sydney-based music studio founded by concert pianist Michelle Park, dedicated to nurturing musicians through inspiring education and meaningful performance experiences.With a strong focus on musical expression, artistic development, and excellence, Hansori Music provides students with opportunities to participate in concerts, masterclasses, national and international competitions, and scholarship programs.Through personalised training and performance opportunities, Hansori Music encourages students to build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong passion for music while pursuing their individual musical goals.
Daniel Park is an emerging Australian pianist recognized for his expressive artistry and technical command. A versatile musician, he has won numerous awards in national and international piano competitions, and in 2024 - 2025 served as concertmaster of both the Chatswood Highschool Chamber Orchestra.
Following an offer of early entry, Daniel is currently in his first year of the Bachelor of Music program at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, studying under the tutelage of Associate Professor Paul Rickard-Ford.
Luke Zhang is a New Zealand-born pianist based in Sydney. He is currently a doctoral candidate at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music under the guidance of Konstantin Shamray and Kenji Fujimura.Recent highlights include performances of Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Gimpo Philharmonic Orchestra in Seoul and Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Camerata Orchestra in Melbourne. He has received numerous awards in national and international competitions, including first prize in the University Division of the Gimpo Philharmonic Music Competition.He holds a Bachelor of Music (Honours) and a Master of Music Studies, having studied under Daniel Herscovitch, Stephanie McCallum, Glenn Riddle, Paul Rickard-Ford and Michelle Park. Luke has also participated in masterclasses with Boris Bloch (3rd Vienna Piano Masterclass, 2026), William Youn, Gabriel Kwok, Konstance Lee, Michel Béroff (Taiwan Maestro Piano Festival, 2026), and Imre Rohmann (66th Weimar Masterclass at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar).
