All About Fees (2026)
Audition Fees: Waived for a limited time
SPO Pre-Orchestra – $500 per Term (incl. GST)
Junior Orchestra – $1,600 per Year (incl. GST)
Senior Orchestra – $1,500 per Year (incl. GST)
Premium String Ensemble – $1,500 per Year (incl. GST)
Fees cover regular rehearsals and participation in regular SPO concerts. (Please note: some concerts may also sell tickets to audiences.)
Discounts
We offer a range of discounts to support our families and encourage more young musicians to join SPO:

Early-bird discounts: New students who enroll in any program before 15 November 2025 will receive an early-bird discount of $100 off the annual fee.

Returning Students: $100 off per year

Second Child: $200 off per year (for the second child within a family)

Third Child: Full annual rehearsal fee waived (subject to approval)

Second Orchestra/Ensemble: 50% off (if a student joins an additional SPO group)

Referral Program: $50 off per applicant (when a new applicant from another family joins through your referral)
Financial Assistance
We understand that some families may require financial assistance. If your household is experiencing financial need, we are more than willing to support you.
To request financial assistance, please indicate your need at the time of application by sending us an email. We kindly ask you to provide relevant supporting documents. Financial support will be considered based on both your family’s circumstances and the applicant’s audition outcome.
